These terms are the agreement between you and Fan Zhong, who makes and runs Hebbi (“we”, “us”), for using the Hebbi app and this website. By creating an account or using Hebbi, you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Hebbi is new

Hebbi is still growing and changing. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable.

Your account

You need an account to use the app, and you must be at least 14 years old to create one. Use an email address you can reach, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@hebbi.app if you think someone else is using your account.

Made with AI

Hebbi's dialogues, translations, word meanings, answers to your questions and feedback on your speaking are produced by AI models, and the dialogues are voiced with synthetic speech. The people in the dialogues are fictional. We work to make all of it accurate and natural, but it can contain mistakes, so use your own judgement and don't rely on Hebbi where a mistake could matter, such as legal, medical or official matters.

Fair use

Hebbi is for your own learning. Please don't:

• try to get around daily limits, or reach anyone else's account or data;
• copy, scrape or resell Hebbi's dialogues, audio or other content;
• use Hebbi through automated scripts or bots, or interfere with how it runs or how it is secured;
• send content that is unlawful or abusive, or other people's personal data or voices without their permission.

Some features have daily limits, and the app tells you when you reach one.

Your content

What you send us, such as your recordings, questions and ratings, stays yours. You give us permission to use it to run Hebbi for you, as the privacy policy describes. Please don't put sensitive personal information in your questions.

Our content

The app, its dialogues and audio, its design, and the Hebbi name and mark belong to us or to those who license them to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them through Hebbi for your own learning, for as long as you have an account.

Price

Hebbi doesn't charge you anything today. If we introduce paid features, we'll tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.

Ending

You can stop using Hebbi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents us. If we ever stop running Hebbi, we'll give you reasonable notice first.

Responsibility

We provide Hebbi with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer. Beyond that, we're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for problems caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect. If you don't agree with it, you can delete your account.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you use Hebbi as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there or in Spain.
